We are a house of story, not just product—and we welcome work that carries weight, wonder, and intention.

General Guidelines

Ungurait House accepts submissions on a rolling basis for our three primary imprints:

  • Ungurait House – Literary fiction that explores memory, identity, culture, and interior transformation

  • IRONWAKE – Mythic, literary fantasy with philosophical depth and rooted worldbuilding

  • Ungurait Atelier – Visual, collaborative, or hybrid works (art books, lifestyle storytelling, curated nonfiction)

We do not publish mass-market genre fiction, children’s books, or poetry collections at this time.

What We’re Looking For

  • Voice-driven novels with emotional gravity

  • Manuscripts that value prose, structure, and cultural texture

  • Stories with something lasting to say—not just something to sell

  • Projects that align with our house values: legacy, intentionality, and aesthetic integrity

How to Submit

Please send the following materials in a single PDF to:
submissions@unguraithouse.com

  • A one-page query letter introducing you and your project

  • A full synopsis (spoilers included)

  • The first 50 pages of your manuscript (double-spaced, 12pt Garamond or Times New Roman)

  • Optional: author bio or statement of intent

We aim to respond within 8–12 weeks. If your work is a better fit for a future list or imprint expansion, we may hold it for further review.

**Currently Closed to Submissions**

Rights & Format

A Note from the Publisher

We don’t chase trends. We build houses—quietly, carefully, and with reverence for the reader.
If your work lives in that spirit, we’d be honored to read it.
